Firebase user ID (account identifier)

Data Storage

Your account information is stored using Google Firebase, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. We also use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage. Firebase applies industry-standard security and encryption measures to protect your data.

Analytics and Identifiers

DeskBreak uses Firebase Analytics to collect usage events (for example, sign-in, settings changes, and account actions). These analytics events may be associated with your Firebase account identifier so we can understand usage patterns and troubleshoot account-specific issues.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we do not perform cross-app tracking.

Notifications

DeskBreak uses local notifications to remind you to take breaks. These notifications are generated on your device and are not sent to external servers.

Firebase (Google) – authentication, database, and analytics
Sign in with Apple – secure login

DeskBreak does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Updates will be posted on this page.

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. You can request account deletion from within the app settings. When deleted, we remove your user record from our Firestore database and clear local account data from your device.
